About me
Mark Aaron Polger (they/them) is associate professor and coordinator of library outreach at the College of Staten Island, City University of New York. Their responsibilities include promoting library services, working with admissions and recruitment with facilitating library tours, new student orientation, and liaising with high schools and public library branches in the community. Their research interests include library marketing, outreach, and user experience (UX) design. Mark is the author of 3 books; Engaging Diverse Learners: Teaching Strategies for Academic Librarians, Library Marketing Basics, and Library Signage and Wayfinding Design.
