I am coming up on my 12th anniversary at Kalamazoo Public Library and am excited about the future of our library. We have gone through a lot of rough transitions lately but the changes we are going through, while difficult, are necessary and I believe are going to make us a much stronger institution! We have so much to celebrate in terms of successes over the last few years, our 150th Anniversary, hosting the MLA Conference Attendee reception, the success of our Peer Navigator and social work program, and so much more. I am so proud of the work we do at KPL and the impact we have on our community.

Personally, I am a married mom with one son, 2 pugs, a cat, 2 fish, and a leopard gecko. I love to read, write, and work out in my very limited spare time, and I am a big fan of craft beer, crime TV, and horror novels. My favorite author is Stephen King.
